AIMA MAT December 2025 CBT Registration Ends Today; Exam on Dec 21

The All India Management Association (AIMA) will close the MAT December 2025 CBT registration window today, December fifteen. Candidates who have not yet submitted their applications can complete the process through the official website mat.aima.in before the deadline ends. The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted for admission to MBA and allied management programmes. The December session is one of the four annual MAT cycles conducted by AIMA.

 

MAT December 2025 CBT: Key Dates

As per the official schedule released by AIMA, the important dates for the MAT December 2025 CBT session are as follows:

  • Registration last date: December fifteen, two thousand twenty-five
  • Admit card release: December eighteen, two thousand twenty-five
  • MAT CBT exam date: December twenty-one, two thousand twenty-five

Candidates are advised to complete the registration process within the stipulated timeline, as no extension has been officially announced.

 

Application Fee and Eligibility Criteria

The application fee for MAT 2025 is ₹ two thousand two hundred, which must be paid online during form submission. To be eligible for the MAT exam:

  • Candidates must have graduated in any discipline from a recognised university
  • Final-year undergraduate students are also eligible to apply

There is no upper age limit specified by AIMA for appearing in the MAT examination.

 

MAT Exam Frequency and Acceptance

AIMA conducts the MAT examination four times a year, usually in the months of February, May, September and December. The MAT score is widely accepted and is used by more than six hundred management institutes across India for admission to postgraduate management courses. Participating institutes include private universities, autonomous B-schools and other recognised management colleges offering MBA, PGDM and similar programmes.

 

MAT 2025 Selection Process

As part of the MAT 2025 application process, candidates are required to select five management institutes to which their scores will be sent. Based on MAT cut-off scores, institutes shortlist candidates for the next stages of admission. The further selection process may include:

  • Group Discussion (GD)
  • Personal Interview (PI)
  • Additional assessment rounds, as per individual institute norms

The final admission decision rests with the respective institutes and is based on MAT scores along with performance in subsequent selection rounds.

Candidates who successfully register should regularly check the official MAT website for updates related to admit card download, exam instructions and result announcements. The admit card will contain details such as test centre, reporting time and exam guidelines, which must be followed strictly on the examination day. With the registration window closing today, aspirants aiming for management admissions in the academic session two thousand twenty-six are advised to complete the application process without delay.
