AIMA MAT 2025 Registration Ends December 15 — MBA/PGDM Alert

The national-level management test All India Management Association (AIMA) has opened its December 2025 cycle for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), inviting applications from graduates and final-year students across disciplines for MBA/PGDM admissions. With over 600 B-schools in India accepting MAT scores, this session is critical for aspirants aiming to secure admission for the 2026 batch. The last date to register for the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode is 15-12-2025.

MAT 2025 Schedule, Test Modes and Eligibility Criteria

Before options run out, candidates should note that MAT 2025 offers flexible test modes — either as a Paper Based Test (PBT) or Computer Based Test (CBT) — to suit different preferences. AIMA MAT has been recognised as a national-level MBA/PGDM entrance exam since 2003, making it one of the most trusted gateways to management education in India. Eligibility criteria remain broad: any candidate with a graduate degree, or final-year students of any discipline, can register. There is no upper age limit, making MAT a viable option for both fresh graduates and working professionals.

What MAT 2025 Exam Tests and Why It Matters

The exam pattern of MAT remains consistent with five sections: Language Comprehension, Reasoning & Critical Thinking, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Economic & Business Environment -total 150 questions, to be attempted in 120 minutes. Each incorrect answer earns a negative mark (−0.25). Because MAT is accepted by 600+ B-schools across India, a good score in this December session can open doors to top MBA/PGDM programmes. The flexible schedule, multiple test modes, and affordability make MAT a popular choice among aspirants seeking entrance to management institutes beyond the major national-level exams.
