AILET Counselling 2026 Schedule Released by NLU Delhi

AILET Counselling 2026 schedule has been released on December 18, 2025, by the National Law University (NLU), Delhi. Candidates who have qualified the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The complete counselling schedule is available on the official website nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

NLU Delhi has clarified that it will prepare an invite list of candidates who can participate in counselling. Only candidates whose names appear in this list will be allowed to proceed with counselling registration and seat allotment.

AILET Counselling 2026 Invite List and Registration Process

As per the official schedule, the AILET Counselling Invite List 2026 will be released on December 19, 2025. Shortlisted candidates must complete the online registration process within the prescribed timeline to be considered for seat allocation.

To participate in AILET 2026 counselling, candidates need to register online by filling in personal and academic details and paying the required counselling registration fee. The counselling process will be conducted for admission to BA LLB (Hons.) programmes offered by NLU Delhi.

Based on the completed registrations, NLU Delhi will publish the AILET provisional merit lists. Candidates whose names appear in the provisional allotment list must confirm their seats by paying the admission fee within the given deadline. Failure to confirm the seat may lead to cancellation of the allotment.

AILET 2026 Seat Allotment and Merit List Process

The counselling process will be conducted in multiple rounds to ensure fair seat distribution. After each round, a provisional merit list will be released based on AILET rank, category, and seat availability.

Candidates who do not receive a seat in the first round or who choose not to confirm their allotment may be considered for subsequent rounds, subject to eligibility and vacancy of seats. NLU Delhi has scheduled up to four provisional merit lists for AILET 2026 admissions.

Before reviewing the detailed schedule, candidates should note that all dates are officially announced and must be strictly followed.
