The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 will take place on December 14, 2025 (Sunday), for admission to BA LLB, LLM, and PhD programmes at NLU Delhi. The university had earlier extended the last date of registration on November 10, 2025, following multiple student requests.
AILET 2026 Registration Closed; Fee Payment Allowed Till 8 AM
The registration dashboard was deactivated after the deadline, but the payment gateway will continue to accept fees till 8 AM on November 14. Candidates who had submitted the form but could not complete the payment have been advised to finish the process within the allowed timing. NLU Delhi confirmed that no further extensions will be granted. The final registered list will be uploaded after the correction window closes.
AILET 2026 Application Correction Window: What Can Be Edited?
The correction facility has been activated for candidates who need to update key details. The university has clarified that only selected fields can be modified, and no major academic information can be altered. Candidates can edit the following:
- Photograph
- Scanned signature
- Name, father’s name, mother’s name
- Residential address
- Exam city preference
These changes can be made only once and must be saved before the window closes at 8 AM. NLU Delhi has urged applicants to verify all personal details carefully to avoid issues on the exam day.
AILET 2026 Exam Date and Schedule
AILET 2026 will be held on December 14, 2025, across multiple centres in India. The duration of the exam will be ninety minutes. The university will release the admit card after completing the form verification process. The schedule is given below.
The entrance test will follow the revised AILET pattern introduced earlier by NLU Delhi. The exam will be conducted in offline mode.
