AILET 2026 Exam on December 14: Check Exam Day Guidelines

The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2026 will be conducted on December 14, 2025, by National Law University Delhi (NLUD). Candidates appearing for the law entrance examination must strictly follow the AILET 2026 exam day guidelines issued by the university to ensure smooth conduct of the test. The examination is scheduled for a duration of 2 hours, and candidates are advised to report to their allotted centres well in advance. Entry to the examination hall will be permitted only after mandatory verification of documents.

 

AILET 2026 Exam Timings and Reporting Instructions

The AILET 2026 Examination will be conducted in a single session. Candidates must follow the reporting instructions mentioned on the admit card to avoid disqualification. Below are the official exam timings and reporting details:

Candidates arriving late at the exam centre may not be allowed to appear for the examination under any circumstances.

 

Mandatory Documents to Carry for AILET 2026

Candidates must carry specific documents and permitted items to the examination centre. Entry will be denied if any mandatory document is missing. The following items are mandatory for AILET 2026:

  • AILET Admit Card 2026 (printed copy)
  • Valid original photo identity proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License
  • Blue or black ballpoint pen
  • Transparent water bottle

Only original identity proofs will be accepted. Photocopies or digital copies will not be considered valid.

 

AILET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Prohibited Items

NLUD has issued strict do’s and don’ts for candidates appearing in the AILET 2026 examination. Candidates must comply with all instructions printed on the admit card. Important guidelines include:

  • Report to the exam centre at least 1 hour before the exam
  • Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, earphones, and Bluetooth devices are strictly prohibited
  • Follow instructions during identity verification and frisking
  • Do not leave the examination hall until the test concludes

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in cancellation of candidature.
