AILET 2026 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

Understanding the marking scheme is important before analysing difficulty level and cutoff trends. The AILET marking system remained unchanged for 2026. Before reviewing the table, candidates should note that accuracy played a key role in maximizing scores due to negative marking.

Negative marking impacted overall attempts, especially in sections requiring analytical reasoning.

AILET 2026 Section-Wise Difficulty Level

The AILET 2026 exam analysis is based on feedback collected from candidates across multiple exam centres. Overall, the paper was rated as moderate to slightly difficult. Before checking section-wise difficulty, it is important to note that the undergraduate and postgraduate exams were conducted at the same centres.

The English section was largely comprehension-based and manageable. Current Affairs required strong awareness of national and legal events, while Logical Reasoning proved to be time-consuming for many candidates.

Student Review of AILET 2026 Exam

Most candidates reported that the paper tested conceptual clarity and reasoning ability rather than rote learning. Logical Reasoning contained lengthy passages, which affected time management. Students who maintained accuracy over high attempts were better positioned for higher scores. General feedback suggested that cutoff scores may remain similar to the previous year, with slight variations depending on category-wise performance.
