The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will soon begin the MSc Nursing admission process for the academic year 2026–27 through the AIIMS Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET). The AIIMS NORCET 2026 entrance exam for MSc Nursing is scheduled to be conducted in April 2026 in online (CBT) mode at designated examination centres. As per the latest update, the AIIMS NORCET 10 application process is expected to commence in February 2026. Eligible candidates seeking admission to MSc Nursing programmes across AIIMS institutions must qualify for the NORCET entrance examination conducted by AIIMS Delhi.

AIIMS NORCET 2026 MSc Nursing Selection Process

The selection process for MSc Nursing admission through AIIMS NORCET consists of two stages:

  1. Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination (Prelims)
  2. Stage 2 – Main Examination (Mains)

Both stages are conducted in online mode. Candidates who qualify the Prelims will be eligible to appear for the Mains exam. After clearing both stages, shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification, followed by final counselling and seat allocation.

 

AIIMS NORCET MSc Nursing 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil the following eligibility conditions:

  • Must be an Indian citizen
  • Should have completed BSc Nursing from a recognised university/institute
  • Must be registered as a Nurse or Midwife with the State Nursing Council
  • Minimum marks required:
    • 60% for General/OBC/EWS candidates
    • 55% for SC/ST candidates
  • Age limit:
    • Minimum: 18 years
    • Maximum: 35 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates

AIIMS NORCET 2026 Exam Centres

The AIIMS NORCET exam is conducted in Delhi NCR only. Candidates will have to appear at designated centres allotted by AIIMS. Despite limited centres, the exam is national-level and open to eligible candidates across India.
