AIIMS NORCET 10 registration has officially begun from 25 February 2026 for candidates seeking appointment as Nursing Officers. The application process is being conducted online, and eligible applicants must complete registration within the prescribed deadline to appear for the recruitment examination.

 

AIIMS NORCET 10 Registration Dates and Exam Schedule

The registration process has been initiated by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences through its official examination portal. Candidates should carefully note the important dates related to the recruitment process.

  • NORCET 10 application start date: 25 February 2026
  • Last date to apply: 16 March 2026
  • Stage I examination date: 11 April 2026
  • Stage II examination date: 30 April 2026

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances.

 

AIIMS NORCET 10 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for NORCET 10 must fulfil the prescribed educational and age requirements before registration. Applicants should possess one of the following qualifications from a recognised institute or university:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing, or
  • B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, or
  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

The nursing qualification must be recognised by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.

  • Age limit: 18 to 30 years (age relaxation as per applicable rules)

 

AIIMS NORCET 10 Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The NORCET 10 selection process consists of two stages conducted in Computer-Based Test mode.

 

Stage I (Preliminary Examination):

  • Total questions: 100 MCQs
  • Total marks: 100
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • 20 questions from General Knowledge and Aptitude
  • 80 questions from Nursing syllabus
  • Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer

The question paper is divided into five sections, each of 18 minutes duration, with 20 questions per section.

 

Stage II (Main Examination):Candidates qualifying Stage I will be eligible to appear for Stage II, which will determine the final selection.
