The All India Institute of Medical Sciences has announced AIIMS NORCET 10 Recruitment 2026 for 2551 Nursing Officer posts across various institutes. The online application process ran from 24 February to 16 March 2026, and the entrance examination will be conducted in two stages in April 2026.
AIIMS NORCET 10 Recruitment 2026 Announced for 2551 Nursing Officer Posts. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-10) to fill vacancies across AIIMS hospitals and other participating institutes in India. Through this recruitment drive, 2551 Nursing Officer posts will be filled. Candidates interested in working in government hospitals under AIIMS had to complete the online application through the official exam portal.
AIIMS NORCET 10 Important Dates 2026

- Application Start Date: 24 February 2026
- Last Date to Apply: 16 March 2026
- Admit Card Release: Expected in April 2026
- Stage-1 (Preliminary) Exam: 11 April 2026
- Stage-2 (Mains) Exam: 30 April 2026
The recruitment exam will be conducted in two stages, and candidates must qualify both stages to move forward in the selection process.
AIIMS NORCET 10 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific academic and professional requirements to apply for the Nursing Officer post.
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized instituteOR
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
Candidates must also be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 30 years (age relaxation as per government rules).
AIIMS NORCET 10 Selection Process

- Stage-2: Main Computer-Based Test (CBT)
