AIIMS CRE 2026 examination has been cancelled at two examination centres in Jaipur after a power supply issue disrupted the test. AIIMS has announced a fresh examination for affected candidates on September 7, 2026.

The affected centres are RJ0101 and RJ0102 at the TCS-operated iON Digital Zone in Sitapura, Jaipur. AIIMS said the re-examination will be conducted to protect candidates' interests and maintain fairness in the recruitment process.

The AIIMS Common Recruitment Examination was disrupted at two centres in Jaipur due to an internal power supply issue. The examination was cancelled at the affected centres to ensure that candidates were not disadvantaged because of the disruption.

Around 2,000 candidates were registered at the two affected Jaipur centres. AIIMS has decided to conduct the examination again only for candidates who were scheduled to appear at these centres during the affected shift.

The incident occurred at the same Sitapura examination location where the NEET PG examination had also faced technical issues shortly before the AIIMS CRE exam.

AIIMS CRE 2026 Re-Exam Date

AIIMS will conduct the re-examination for affected candidates on September 7, 2026. Jaipur will remain the examination city, while the exact examination centre will be mentioned in the revised admit cards.

Candidates who were scheduled at the affected centres and shift will be eligible to appear for the re-examination. The original terms and conditions of the recruitment examination will continue to apply.

AIIMS CRE 2026 Revised Admit Card

AIIMS will issue revised admit cards for candidates appearing in the re-examination. Candidates should download the updated admit card once it is available on the examination portal.

The revised admit card will contain details such as the new examination centre, reporting time and other instructions. Candidates should carry the revised admit card to the examination centre.

AIIMS has also directed TCS to preserve relevant system logs, CCTV footage and control-room communications and submit a detailed report about the incident.
