The eligibility is defined as per NMC norms:
- Professor & Additional Professor: Maximum age 58 years (direct), 56 years (deputation). Retired faculty up to 70 years can apply on contract.
- Associate Professor & Assistant Professor: Maximum age 50 years.
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, up to 5 years for government servants. PwBD and ex-servicemen get additional relaxation as per rules.
