The Bar Council of India will conduct the AIBE 21 Exam 2026 on June 07, 2026, in offline mode. Candidates must follow the prescribed exam-day instructions and carry the required documents to the examination centre. The council has also confirmed that candidates can carry Bare Acts without notes and announced that the AIBE examination will be conducted twice a year from 2026 onwards.

AIBE 21 Exam 2026 will be conducted by the Bar Council of India (BCI) on June 07, 2026. The examination will take place in pen-and-paper mode across designated centres. Candidates appearing for the All India Bar Examination are advised to carefully follow the official exam-day guidelines to ensure a smooth examination experience.

 

The Bar Council of India has released detailed instructions regarding reporting time, permitted items, prohibited materials, and important examination procedures. Candidates must carry their admit cards and valid identity proof to gain entry into the examination hall.

 

AIBE 21 Exam 2026 Reporting Time and Entry Rules

Candidates should reach their allotted examination centres well before the reporting deadline. The important timings are provided below:

No candidate will be permitted to enter the examination hall after 1:15 PM under any circumstances.

 

AIBE 21 Exam Day Guidelines 2026

Candidates must comply with all instructions issued by the Bar Council of India. Failure to follow the prescribed rules may lead to disqualification from the examination. Before appearing for the exam, candidates should note the following guidelines:

  • Carry the AIBE 21 Admit Card 2026.
  • Bring a valid photo identity proof.
  • Visit the examination centre location in advance, if possible.
  • Reach the venue at least 1.5 hours before reporting time.
  • Use only a blue or black ballpoint pen for marking responses on the OMR sheet.
  • Ensure that the hall ticket number printed on the question booklet and OMR sheet matches.
  • Do not carry electronic devices inside the examination hall.
  • Bare Acts are permitted only if they do not contain handwritten notes or additional material.

 

AIBE 21 Exam Day Checklist

Candidates should prepare the required documents and materials before leaving for the examination centre.

 

The following items must be carried:

  • AIBE XXI (21) 2026 Admit Card
  • Passport-size photograph
  • Valid photo identity proof
  • Bare Acts without notes
  • Blue or black ballpoint pens

Candidates should avoid carrying:

  • Mobile phones
  • Smartwatches
  • Digital watches
  • Calculators
  • Bluetooth devices
  • Any other electronic gadgets

 

Bare Acts Allowed in AIBE 21 Exam

Although the examination is no longer classified as an open-book test, the Bar Council of India has allowed candidates to carry Bare Acts into the examination hall. However, the Bare Acts must not contain:

  • Handwritten notes
  • Printed notes
  • Additional study material
  • Highlighted explanatory content

Candidates found carrying unauthorized materials may face disciplinary action.

 

AIBE 2026 to Be Conducted Twice a Year

The Bar Council of India has introduced a major change in the examination schedule. Beginning in 2026, the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) will be conducted twice annually.

 

Candidates appearing for AIBE 21 are advised to strictly follow all exam-day instructions and carry the necessary documents to avoid any inconvenience on the examination day.
