The Bar Council of India (BCI) has confirmed that the upcoming AIBE 20 exam will be held on November 30, 2025, and released an official set of exam-day do’s and don’ts for all candidates appearing for the test. This announcement comes as law-graduates across India prepare to sit for the exam to secure their Certificate of Practice (CoP). Candidates are advised to carefully review the guidelines and ensure they carry only the permitted items. Any violation may result in disqualification or denial of entry.
AIBE 2025 Exam Schedule & Format
The AIBE 20 Exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen-and-paper test) across multiple centres nationwide. Important exam details:
- Exam date: November 30, 2025
- Exam time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Reporting time / Entry start: Typically 11:30 AM (but check admit card for exact timing)
- Question format: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) across core law subjects
Bare Acts are allowed inside the hall without commentary or notes — AIBE is a closed-book exam. Qualifying marks generally follow: 45% for General/OBC, 40% for SC/ST/PwD (subject to BCI norms)
