AIBE 20 Result Rechecking Window: Key Dates

The Bar Council of India started accepting online requests for AIBE 20 result rechecking on 14 January 2026, and this rechecking window will remain open until 23 January 2026. Candidates must apply within this period to ensure their OMR sheets are reviewed.

Who Can Apply for Rechecking?

Any candidate who appeared for AIBE 20 in 2025 and has concerns about their result — including those whose result shows a ‘Fail’ status — is eligible to apply for the OMR sheet rechecking process. This gives aspirants a chance to verify whether their answer sheet was evaluated correctly.

Application Fee and Process

Candidates wishing to apply for rechecking must pay a non-refundable fee of INR 500 per application. The entire process needs to be completed online; physical applications or offline submissions will not be accepted by the Bar Council of India.

What Happens After Rechecking?

Once the rechecking window closes, the Bar Council of India will review all applications and verify the OMR sheets against final evaluation standards. If any discrepancy is found during this process, the AIBE 20 result will be revised accordingly and candidates will be informed through their registered contact details or email. The rechecking option provides an additional layer of confidence for law graduates awaiting confirmation of their performance in the AIBE exam.
