AIBE 20 Eligibility, Exam Pattern & Fee Structure

The following are the key eligibility norms, exam structure, and fee details for AIBE 20, as understood from the latest announcements.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must hold a 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB degree from an institute recognised by BCI. Final year students with no backlogs are also eligible.
  • No minimum compulsory passing marks are prescribed by BCI to apply.
  • There is no age limit for applicants.
  • Applicants need not mandatorily have a bar enrolment certificate at the time of registration.

 

Exam Pattern & Structure

The AIBE exam is expected to follow the previous format:

  • Mode: Offline (pen-and-paper)
  • Total Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
  • Total Marks: 100, with no negative marking
  • Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes (3.5 hours)
  • Passing Marks: General / OBC – 40% (40 marks), SC / ST / PwD – 35% (35 marks)
