100 Marks in MHT CET Percentile 2026, Expected Score Analysis

100 marks in MHT CET 2026 is considered a moderate score, and candidates often look for an estimated percentile linked to this mark range. The exact MHT CET 2026 percentile for 100 marks cannot be predicted in advance because the calculation depends on several variables. These include exam difficulty, shift-wise performance, and the overall number of candidates.

However, based on a detailed analysis of previous years’ MHT CET marks vs percentile data, an expected percentile range can be estimated. This helps candidates understand their performance level and possible admission prospects through the counselling process.

How Is the MHT CET Percentile Calculated?

The State Common Entrance Test Cell calculates the MHT CET percentile score using a standardised method. The process begins with the calculation of raw scores based on the official marking scheme. Before looking at percentiles, it is important to understand how raw marks are awarded in the MHT CET exam.

• For the Mathematics paper, 2 marks are awarded for every correct answer.
• For Physics, Chemistry, and Biology papers, 1 mark is given for each correct response.
• There is no negative marking for wrong or unattempted questions in any subject.

Once raw scores are calculated, the CET Cell converts them into percentile scores using a normalisation formula. This method is similar to the process used in other national-level entrance exams.

The MHT CET percentile represents the percentage of candidates who have scored less than or equal to a particular score. The percentile is calculated up to five decimal places to reduce the chances of tie scores.
